Rain check Policy for Swimming: All state parks will issue a rain check, good for a period of 12 months from the date of issue, to any paying customer (does not apply to free swimming vouchers) if the swimming area is forced to close for 40 minutes or more due to inclement weather. Outside that period, beach swimming is unguarded and without an Section on the park's website to determine whether the beach is guarded between Memorial Day *Fees for beach swimming apply only when the beach is guarded.
